Support R & D Organisation (DRDO) conducted two effective trip tests of the Indian Military version of Tool Range Surface Area to Air Rocket (MRSAM) at Integrated Test Variety, Chandipur off the shore of Odisha on Sunday.The flight examinations

were carried out as component of the real-time shooting tests against high-speed aerial targets. The missiles intercepted the aerial targets as well as destroyed them totally, registering straight hits at both ranges.The initial launch was to intercept a medium-altitude long-range target as well as the second launch was for showing the capability of a low-altitude short-range target.This MRSAM version is a Surface-to-Air Projectile developed jointly by DRDO as well as

Israel Aerospace Industries(IAI), Israel, for usage by the Indian Army.The MRSAM Army tool system makes up multi-function radar, mobile launcher system as well as various other vehicles.
